AKL - Deluxe vs. Standard rooms

Looking to comapre these 2 room types at AKL. Are the deluxe rooms there just basically a bit larger or are there other advantages. Thank you!

Standard rooms only sleep four. Some BUT NOT ALL deluxe rooms have a daybed so they will sleep five. Unless you are a party of five you can request, but are not guaranteed the room with a daybed.

We have 4 total (2 adults, 2 children). I just like to have a little more to room to spread out, especially once the kids go to sleep. I'm just wondering if the AKL deluxe rooms are considerably larger, have larger balconies, offer better Savannah views or what other advantages they may offer over the standard rooms.

There are no other advantages to the deluxe rooms. They are just a bit bigger. (Not a lot bigger, just some.) They are on higher floors (5 & 6 I believe), but personally I liked being lower and closer to the animals.
Depending on the ages of the kids, consider requesting bunkbeds. It gives you a *little* extra floor space in the room.
Basically, unless you need the day bed, I'm not sure I could justify the extra cost of the deluxe room for myself personally.
