HI!!

I just booked AKL deluxe pool view room for our upcoming trip in November. We had a standard pool view room before and loved it. What are the differences??? Did you like the deluxe room?? It was the only pool view room that they had available during our stay in November.

Thank you for your help!!

I had a deluxe savannah room on our last stay, as opposed to a standard savannah (I have also had the standard pool view--but can't comment on the deluxe pool view). For as for the deluxe, the view was PRIME. I don't know if that translates to a perfect pool view, but I would bet that it does. It was a wonderful room and we had turn down service, which I love. There were neat little cards with various sayings on them that the mousekeeper left on our pillow at night, along w/ chocolate. We had a fridge in our room. I don't remember any other differences...the room didn't look all that much different from our standards--the decor was the same. It may have been a little bigger.

Although I haven't stayed at AKL, yet, from everything I read the deluxe rooms are all on the fifth floor. They are larger and have a day bed in them. I assume the pool view ones would be on the fifth floor overlooking the pool(it makes sense!).

Yes, our deluxe savannah room was on the 5th floor. I don't remember a daybed, though, but the room was larger.

Not all the 5th floor deluxe rooms have daybeds. Ours didn't during our stay in March.
