AKL Concierge

I reserved a CL room for the first time at AKL. Can you tell me about it, anybody stay there recently? I'm so excited.

The CL rooms are located on the 4th floor on either the Zebra Trail (pool and restaurants are on this side) or Kudu Trail. The rooms are close to the lobby.

The lounge is located on the 6th floor overlooking the beautiful lobby.

We stayed club level in December. The food was good and plentiful. The staff was very congenial.

I am excited too! We check in in 12 days and it can't get here soon enough! It will be our first time staying on disney property and I am guessing we will be spoiled rotten!

Another question: Did anyone notice if there is enough food in the evening for kids? I heard they have kiddie approved foods, but didn't know any specifics. If they don't we will pick up a kids meal for the girls to split while we eat and drink. TIA!

The evening food isn't really meant to be a dinner. I've seen pbjs at other lounges but don't remember them at AKL. There is a good chance that the kids won't like what's up there in the evenings if they like kids food...

Second, I'll say that my family has stayed there many times and we are about to go there again. We really enjoy CL at AKL. If you call or email the IPO office they will tell you about all the things they can book for you, including the Sunrise Safari (I highly recommend that one).

Like a pp said, the lounge is on the 6th floor. The rooms are all on the 4th floor and have great views of the Arusha Savanna.

The did the last time we were there and I did ask and was told they still have tea time in the lounge. I'll be there soon so I guess I'll know for sure then... The tea time at AKL is one of the things that makes the AKL CL special.

Wow! Good for you! I hope you enjoy it. My family has been on it several times and each time we see something new and learn something different about the animals at AK -- it's definitely worth getting up early for it!
