AKL Concierge rooms w a view ??

We have booked for the week of Thanksgiving 2 concierge level rooms at AKL. What are the odds of getting one or both with a savannah view? What floors are they on now?

If you requested savannah view rooms, you are guaranteed savannah view rooms. The standard concierge rooms are on the 4th floor.

I asked the same question when I emailed AKL itinerary office for my trip next week. I was told that due to the construction going on for the villas that all CL rooms are now Savannah view. But not all CL villa rooms will be Savannah view. Hope this helps!

When we booked over 6 months ago we were not able to request pool or savananh for concierge. We could have booked a savannah guaranteed. Since we wanted concierge were told no guarantee of pool or savannah view.

I believe based on the timing of the construction, that information was correct when it was told to you. A majority of the club level rooms were savanna, but they had a few smoking optional club rooms that were pool view. As of now, all club level rooms are located on the 4th floor and have savanna views.

The AKL CL rooms are on the 4th floor and have views around Arusha Rock. They are standard size - they sleep 4. If you want bunk beds, you can request them from the IPO. We had 2 connecting CL rooms in June and one had bunks just as requested.

The AKVilla CL rooms are on the 6th floor and some have savanna view and some have pool view. None of the views are very good from the 6th floor due to the roof line.

Thank you! Arusha is my favorite...last time we were on the third floor on Arusha with an incredible view.

It may be a long walk for some....to the elevator,up to your floor, then back past the pool to the room, but it is worth the view.

How would you rate the food/snack offerings? Have read that AKL is not nearly as good as Poly. It's a snack, but nice choices would be great.
