AKL Concierge Lounge Food?

How's the food? I mean is it good for light meals, or is it just snacks? I'm planning our trip and I was wondering if I could count on it for breakfasts and a couple of lunches

I would count on it for breakfast, but snacks/appetizers for the rest of the day. For breakfast, when we stayed, there was oatmeal,cold cereal, fresh fruit, muffins, pastries, bagels, croisants, juices,milk, obviously coffee and tea. Great for breakfast!!!

You can count on it for a light breakfast, but definitely not for lunch. Staying concierge is of very limited assistance in helping save money on food at WDW.

Yes, the concierge lounge can be used for breakfast. For some, that alone is worth the price of concierge. Otherwise, you're not going to save by staying at this level of accommodations. You're really paying for convenience of having someone take care of arrangements for you.

The rest of the day it's chips, pretzels, gummy worms and that kind of fare. In the evening, they'll offer hot appetizers. Then later you can get some dessert. However, if you are in the parks you'll miss those desserts. Some say they can make a meal off the appetizers, but it's not the intent of it. I know none of us in our family have been able to. They don't have anything out that you can make lunch out of. GF, Poly or CR might be the exception. They have a lot more in the way of offerings and if you're a small eater it just might be enough for you.

Plus, there are too many good dining venues that you won't want to limit yourself so severely.

Us too, first trip and would like to have breakfast and lunches/snacks there. Cannot wait!

Thanks Guys. I didn't think going club level would save money overall by eating in the lounge but it is nice to help offset the extra cost if we could eat breakfast there.
