AKL COncierge - How far in advance to use thier services?

Hi everyone,

I did a search for this answer on the forum but couldn't find anything so I thought I'd ask... How far in advance does the AKL concierge usually contact you? Do they? How far in advance have you contacted them for assistance in Dining palnning, etc. I'm specifically looking for their help to make V&A Chef's table reservations - so of course I'm almost at my 180 day mark (seems like forever from now).

Hello~
I know from experience that the Chef's Table at V&A is booked solid (of course there may be exceptions) 6 months in advance. So go ahead and email them.
The IPO staff is awesome Andrea and Don and Sue are the ones who've always helped me.
Email them w/ your res. # and introduce yourself a little bit. The only thing that will matter for a while is the Chef's Table request but as you near the 90-day mark you can proceed w/ other requests.

My DH and I are going to be at the AKL 12/3-12/10.

I have been in contact with them since I secured by reservation with my travel agency in May.

They called me this Saturday and we could not get the Chef's table at V & A that week (they are already booked). They are working on other tours and PSs for us.

I have contacted them by e-mail and they sent me a Personal Planner to fill out and then they contacted me by phone.

Can you tell me what a Personal Planner is,I am staying at AKL concierge on November 29th and when I contacted them about a month ago they said I hadn't downloaded to them yet and said they really don't contact anyone until near the 90 day mark so I wonder if the personal planner would help me now because then I will email them and request one now.

I e-mailed the ALK concierge services to tell them we were planning to come the first week of Dec. They e-mailed me back and stated they confirmed by reservation. Attached was a WDW personal itinerary planner. It asked for dates of our arrival, source of arrival. Birthdays of group, children etc. It asked what dinner plans we wanted, special activities (like Circus de Soleil) etc and any celebrations during our stay. I filled it our and faxed it back.

I had asked for the Chef's table and Circu de Soleil tickets, but were unable to get either. The Circus is not showing the week we are there and the Chef's table was already booked. I have them working on MVMCP, Candlelight procession, Sunrise safari, and the Sedway tour at Epcot.

They alway e-mail me back with 72 hours. they have also called my come twice.

Thanks for the info,I really don't need to have them to do much for me,I am pretty good at booking my own activities,I already have a MVMCP ticket,Keys to the Kingdom tour, and a Cirqu du soleil ticket,I m sorry they are not going to be showing the week you are there,I researched their schedule when I was planning my trip and actually moved it up a week earlier because I really wanted to go to Cirque du soleil and also avoid Pop Warner.I am also waiting for the candlelight processional information to come out so I can book that also,I really just want to make sure I get on both the Sunrise and Sunset Safaris and see if they can help make sure I get a savannah room if at all possible,otherwise I am a compulsive planner and I am sure I will have everything I can possibly have scheduled at the 90 day mark already booked,I get certain sense of security booking things myself.
