What do I need to know? DH and I finally decided, and were able to book, a club level room for our trip next year. It will be our first ever stay in a CL room. This is a non park trip, so we will be around the resort to take advantage of the lounge. Does anyone have pictures you can share? Or tips/experiences that may help our planning? TIA

Views aren't that great, often if you don't get to the food when first put out you may find that your choices will be limited.

You will get:
Daily housekeeping with evening turn down service
Access to the Itinerary Planning Office (IPO)
Access to the Concierge Level Lounge

Take advantage of the various cultural experiences available at Jambo and Kidani, not just the lounge. I've had 4 enjoyable lounge stays, with a weekend trip coming up in May, DH's first choice of a place to stay was a CL room at AKV, and I was happy to get one for him.

I love the club level at AKC. Bought extra points just so I could book out at 11 months. We don't do parks so spend several days just at pool. I find the breakfast to be quite nice. Then we get snacks in the afternoon and take sodas back to pool. Concierge helps with anything like hard to get dinner reservations. Before dinner we get appetizers and wine which cuts down on purchase at dinner. Sometimes we can share an entree and just get a glass of wine rather than a bottle. After dinner we come vavk for dessert and after dinner drinks. The Staff is lovely. Housekeeping does a great job. Views are minimal but there are other places to see animals. We always get one befroom so having the laundry is nice.

All good information, thank you. We are AKL owners, so are very familiar with the cultural experiences. But we usually stay at Kidani, so Jambo will be new to us.

Did you book AKL club level room (which is on the fourth floor) or AKV concierge villa (on the sixth floor)? Studio, one bedroom or two bedroom or hotel room? There are three two bedroom lockoffs with a partial savanna view and two with a pool view on the sixth floor. The view is kind of blocked by the roof overhang. It will be the sunset savanna. But the DVC villas are located on the same floor as the Concierge Lounge.

We booked the DVC studio. So I assume from what you're saying we will be on the 6th floor? We are big fans of Kidani and have stayed there many times, however, this will be our first stay in Jambo. So we are very familiar with the resort amenities, but very unfamiliar with the rooms and hotel layout.

Yes, you'll be on the sixth floor. You cannot request savanna or pool view; you just get what you get.

But you will be on the same floor as the lounge. So take advantage of the lounge and its offerings.
