AKL Club Level Question

We are planning a trip for Mid November or early December of 2014. What are the chances of getting two AKL Club level studios at 7 months out?

There are only 5 2-bedroom lock-offs that make up the Concierge Level at AKV Jambo House. The CL rooms will most likely be gone before the 7 month window opens.

From what I've read on these boards, the odds of getting club level at AKL are pretty slim unless you own there, especially with your travel dates. Those are high DVC travel times.

Chances are zero to get even one. AKV club level is usually gone quickly at the 11 month window. You can sometimes find a day or two open at 7 months, or even longer if a 1BR, but even that is particularly unlikely for time period you want, e.g., "early December" is the highest DVC demand week of the year and you are not only going to be unable to find AKV club level at that time, but you will likely not even find anything other than SSR, and possibly OKW or AKV standard or savanna view at 7 months out.

I estimate your changes are 0.0001% to achieve this booking. I would normally say it is 0%, but the odds are slightly better than 0%, but not much better.

You could always rent your points out and then rent points from someone who owns at AKL to secure the booking at 11 months.

while this is a good suggestion, I still think the possibility of getting two concierge rooms even at the 11 month mark are slim.

You cancel the reservation you booked at 11 months out and book the new reservation using the points you just freed up.

Nothing automatically changes over. If you need to use points form the 11 month reservation for the new one you want at 7 months, you need to cancel the 11 month one first and then make the new one.
