I have a question about transporation times. How long does it take to get to Epcot and MK from AKL? Also, if I have an ADR at CP for 8:05am what time should I get to the bus to catch the character breakfast bus and does it show on the bus where its going to or do I need to ask the driver or would it be easier to have a 8:40am ADR and just take the 1st MK bus since they start running 1 hr prior to opening?

Be waiting out at the bus stop 45 mins prior to your reservation time, and make sure to let the driver know which breakfast you're going to.

So is there only 1 character breakfast bus that goes to all the parks for AKL?

Not necessarily. It depends on the driver staffing.

I have been out at the AKL bus depot at 7AM and have seen busses marked for each bus individually. I have also read on here that a bus pulled up (not marked for a particular park) and the driver asked where they wanted to go.

Especially for the MK bus, tell the driver where your breakfast is at (CP,CM, Kona, etc.) because the driver MIGHT be able to drop you off right at the particular resort.

There will be buses going to MK, AK, and Epcot for those early morning breakfasts. Just get on the bus that is going to get you to the park you need to be at for your ADR. If it's at the Contemporary, then take the MK bus..same with the Polynesian, and the GF restaurants.
They start running very early in the morning...perhaps around 6:30 or so. I've had no trouble getting to 7:30 ADRs before...just be at the bus stop by 6:45 and you should be fine.

So they will just say the park its going to, not character breakfast? Sorry just kinda confused cuz I read that it will say character breakfast on the bus and u have to clarify with the driver where its going.

When they first started (many years ago), they DID say "Character reakfast". 99% of the time they now say the park.

For breakfasts at the monorail resorts, (Chef Mickey's, Ohana, GF) or at MK, (Crystal Palace, Tony's, the Castle) take the MK bus

For breakfasts at the Epcot resorts, (Beach Club, Swan, Dolphin), take the Studios bus

For breakfast at Norway, or Garden Grill, take the Epcot bus

For breakfast at Donald's, take the AK bus

To get to the resort breakfasts once you board, tell them where you are having breakfast. They might be able to take you there directly.

If they are not able to take you directly:

For the monorail resorts, take the monorail around, or walk to Chef Mickey's

For the Epcot resorts, walk or take the boat from the Studios.

OK I completely understand now. Thanks everyone! :)

When we stayed at AKL last October, we also had an 8:05am ADR for CP. We were at the bus stop for MK by 7 or 7:15. We waited maybe 5 minutes for the MK bus. We were still at MK before they were letting people with ADRs in. We waited in line there 10-15 minutes. We weren't the first to check in at CP, but were close!

we have ADR at Ohana and we will be at AK park that morning, is there a specific way to get us there. This is our first trip and also, does anyone know how long it will take?

If you will be at Animal Kingdom, just exit the park and hop on the bus that is going to the Polynesian. The longest time it might take would be 45 mins..but that would be if you had just missed the bus and had to wait 20 minutes or so for the next one. I always leave 45 mins to an hour to get to my ADR if I have to go to a different park or a different resort.
