AKL-Bus Time to Parks?

Sorry if this has been covered before, but can someone tell me the approximate times it takes to get to each of the parks from AKL by bus?

AKL is about 5 minutes. The others are 10-15 minutes.

You are obviously closest to AK; the longest ride will be to MK -about 17 min -20 min. It's about a 10-12 min ride to Epcot and DHS. (by the way, AKL and Blizzard Beach and the All Star resorts are all located in the same vicinity.)

We just came back from a 10 day stay at AKL. Buses were great! BB andAK are only about 5 minutes away. HS and EP were about 10 minutes away and MK was about 15 minutes away. Buses came very often and were not very crowded. We only had to stand twice (Epcot and MK at closing). Have a great time.

I agree. It seems to mee AKL has some of the best transporation on property. I think Disney doesn't want people to feel like the lodge is too "far away" and so they compensate. no complaints here lol! I have never waited more than 10 mins for a bus at AKL and the longest trip is to MK which is like 15-20mins.

The times posted by the above posters are what we experianced as well. We never had to wait long for a bus either. My theory is that WDW makes sure to have plenty of buses servicing AKL since it is the only deluxe that doens't have an alternate mode of transportation to the parks. All of the others either have boat or monorail (or both) transportation to at least one of the major parks. This doesn't detract from a stay at AKL however - great resort.

The AKL is the only deluxe that doesn't share busses with other resorts-- this is one reason I think their transportation is great.

Good to know! I thought I had remembered seeing that somewhere on the DIS boards about the transportation being good at AKL, but I thought I'd investigate anyway since we just changed our lodging choice for our upcoming trip from WL to AKL....I'm so excited about it!
