When can non AKL owners book AKL? now I am guessing? so we can book at the 7 month window?

and...

all of you are booking the main bldg...right? the new construction won't be don't until next year, right? can you book rooms in the New area for next year yet??

are the concierge in the old part or new part? thanks.

lastly...non owners basically have no chance to book concierge ???

thanks all;)

Non-owners can book now for savanna or standard categories; next Wednesday, June 27th, booking opens for values and concierge levels (for non-owners).
The rooms are in the main building (Jambo House), and that's what can be booked.
The word is that Concierge will only be in Jambo House.:sad2:
As far as non-owners getting concierge, like all wishes, some are granted, some are not. pixiedust:

From what others have been posting here, concierge hasn't been too difficult to book yet. I don't recall anyone saying they were unsuccessful. The hard-to-get days will most likely be those that the safaris are offered on. If you're not looking to do the safari, it may not be as difficult to book concierge (on the non-safari days anyway) as we initially thought.

Good luck!

I just booked Kilmanjaro Club Concierge for february for a friend. I found out that Concierge rooms are on the 6th floor for DVC in Jambo for now. There are 5 studios & 5 1 bedrooms or they can be combined to be 2 bedrooms. 3 studios & 3 one bedrooms face the Savannah & 2 studios & 2 one bedrooms face the pool. The roof blocks part of the view for the Savannah.

The following are the benefits for Kilmanjaro Club Concierge (same benefits as AKL): http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wd...AnimalKingdomLodgeResortGuestRoomsListingPage
Make-up mirrors in each room.
Comfy robes available in your room
Turndown service
Staff available prior to and during your visit for reservations and vacation planning
Access to the exclusive Kilimanjaro Club featuring Continental breakfast, snacks and evening wine and cheese reception
Ability to participate in the Sunrise Safari Breakfast Adventure — an exclusive early-morning tour of Kilimanjaro Safaris at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park — offered only to a limited number of Club Concierge-level Guests for an additional fee
Ability to participate in the Wildlife Discovery Excursion — an exclusive guided tour of Kilimanjaro Safaris® at Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park — offered only to a limited number of Club Concierge-level Guests for an additional fee

The point difference from Savannah to Concierge is not many points. So unless you want the Concierge benefits (like the Safaris or food), I do not think it is worth it. Also you will hear the construction noise.

My understand that the Kidani Village will be finished early 2009.
