Just booked 11/29 - 12/6 @ AKL std. room for $169 per nt. or $1,319 total thru CRO w/ AAA discount. Wanted WL std. but checked every 7-nt. period thru Dec. & nothing available (just Woods View & I'm on limited budget). Might work out for best - kids insist they'll like AKL more (we've never been to either).
We stayed at AKL this past Dec and loved it. I originally booked with the same AAA rate as you, but some general public codes came out in the fall and I was able to switch to a Savannah room for $4 less a night then the AAA standard. Even if you end up standard, the rooms are really nice and there are plenty of places to view the animals. We loved everything about the resort. Lots of activities for my DS to participate in.
