OK, Tomorrow I have to make my ADR's for our Epcot day. I know we want to eat at Akershus. We would prefer breakfast food, as no one here is too excited about the food selections. But since we will be at MNSSHP the night before, we expect a late start and the TIMING for lunch seems much better.

Can you sell me on lunch????

Have you been recently for lunch and can share an up to date list of choices? I had heard they had a pulled pork sandwich, but don't see that on the menus they list on Allears.

Does anyone have pictures of the lunch food???

I would book a late breakfast. I am not a picky eater at all but the lunch and dinner menu scares me. :rolleyes1

I would do a late breakfast, as well, especially since the WS doesn't open until 11am; you would enjoy that portion of the park with no crowds.

We really enjoyed the breakfast, (haven't done lunch or dinner as we didn't like the menu). I also would suggest a late breakfast. It's not a huge buffet, but we definitly were not hungry when we left.

What time is the last breakfast seating?? We are looking to book a late breakfast in November, but I have seen 3 different times listed :confused3

We have had breakfast here twice and loved it. Last week we tried lunch and were not thrilled. The princesses were great at lunch and we got to see Cinderella and Ariel, but the breakfast food is just so much yummier! I am hoping to score the latest breakfast possible :thumbsup2

I called Disney dining today and they told me the last breakfast sitting is 11:10. I think you guys have convinced me to go for that time. We can go in, hoof it back to Norway, come back to do a ride or 2 in FW before making the big circle around WS. It is September after all. How bad can it be???? I know, I know.... famous last words..........

I'd say go for the 11:10 breakfast. We did that our last trip and for us with the kids, was the perfect time.
also, we find it takes a while to get all the way over to Norway (and then allowing time for bus transportation and all that), and was nice having it nice and late. Gave the kids a little more time to sleep - which they needed a catchup sleep day, which yielded no whining from them all day about being tired!

Well, I'm sure there will STILL be whining involved since we'll be out at MNSSHP the night before, but I think we'll give it a go......

It's just too hard to fit it all in!

we have done both breakfast and lunch there. Breakfast is pretty general. We were a little worried about lunch because of the mixed reviews i was reading before we left but we decided to try it out anyway. We loved it. DH had the pulled pork sandwhich and i had something that was pretty much like meatloaf. ssoo yummy! i would do lunch there again. I don't remember the names of the food but if you ask your server they know what you are talking about. I asked what was the one like meatloaf and she told me what it was and we questioned what some of the other food was just so we knew what we were going to be eating.

Well, the discussion turned out to be for naught......

I had called Disney Dining yesterday to see what time the last seating was for breakfast and they told me 11:10. This morning at 90 + 10 days out, the latest available breakfast seating was 10:45....

That's just too early to make after being at MNSSHP til midnight the night before.

At least it made up my mind. We'll give lunch a try, and now at least have time to try one attraction and pick up a set of FP's (hopefully Soarin???) before heading back to Norway.

Thanks to all for your opinions!
