Just booked my first ever character meal!!! I'm so excited!!!! Anyone done a princess meal at Akershus in Epcot? Who did you get to see? Food fanastic or so-so?? Yay!!!

What meal are you doing? We did lunch--we didn't care for it, but I am a picky eater. Breakfast, we understand, is basic American food. When we were there, we had Belle, Jasmine, Alice in Wonderland, Ariel and one other princess (can't remember which). We also had Prince Ali.

We are doing breakfast at 9:50. I'm fine with a typical American meal. We don't need anything fancy, as long as there are characters we will be great! I'd also like some fruit if they have it....

We had lunch there in January. Food was good. We had Belle as a greeter then Ariel (as a human), Jasmine, Aurora and Cinderella (she is not a regular there) in the dining room.

We just had breakfast there for my dd's 2nd birthday in April. We loved it. The food was good nothing fancy just good basic breakfast food, loved the potatoes. They is a cold bar with fruit, pastries, meat and cheeses. Then the hot food is brought out family style and you can get more of whatever you need. We had Belle in her yellow gown greet us then Mulan, Snow White, Sleeping beauty and Jasmine. Have fun

We did lunch - DH and I really did not care for our meals, but DD2 enjoyed her Hotdog and Corn (the desserts were good too). We are planning to return on our next trip but will do breakfast. DD2 loved meeting all the princesses. She met Belle, Jasmine, Aurora, Ariel, and even her hero Cinderella (this was a huge hit with her). All the princesses were very nice to her (hugs,kisses,etc.)

We had breakfast last Sept. Belle was the greeter which was fantastic for my little one. Mulan, Snow White, Mary Poppins, and Jasmine came around in during dining. Great experience. you will love it. The breakfast brought to the table was bacon, sausage, eggs, and cheesy hashbrowns. The cold buffet was a little different for us. It has cheeses, fruit, some type of cold fish, and fish salsa (?? can't remember the name --yuck not good), and breads.

Belle was in the lobby for pictures. Once at the table, the princesses came around once for a quick visit, autograph, and photo with DDs. They were Aurora, Jasmine, Ariel, and Cinderella. Cinderella was the best, IMO. I thought they were all in kind of in a rush to go home, but I still prefer it to waiting in line to see them.

The food? It was okay - good enough that I can't complain. Not great enough that I even remember what I ate.

I have to say - it's not all princesses at Akershus. There are a few young men from Norway that are not bad to look at either. That's what I remember the most, lol.

Well if DH gets to look at the princesses, then it's only fair that I get to look at the men!

When I was there, we saw some ladies getting their pictures taken with the Norway men. They were great sports. I was tempted but did not have the nerve.

?....if we have reservations for 8 people but 2 do not end up attending (they are up in the air) will my CC be charged $20 for them no showing? They plan on deciding while there.
