Any opinions on the Princess Storybook Dining at Epcot? My kids wanted CRT but they were all booked up. So, this is the other option. How is the food? We'd be going for lunch 11/19. Thanks!

We did both CRT and PSB and my dd actually preferred Akershus! The food is better there too. Also, we saw Cinderella at PSB -- so she does sometimes appear there. I don't think you'll be disappointed with Akershus!

Thanks...I'm glad you had a good experience and that the food was good. DH wants good food and the kids want fun. Trying to please everyone.

We've had breakfast there several times, the most recent being 4th of July this year. We've always enjoyed the food and the princesses. You will have a great time.

I can't tell you about lunch, but dinner was GOOD! I wish I'd asked for more venison stew. But the cold cut bar was good too. Ate waaay too much cheese.... :scared: Which was something as I'm lactose intolerant with a tolerance limit and I blew it!

We loved it, Every Princess came to the table and signed autographs and took pictures. They really took the time to make it special

We had lunch there last September and it was very good. The food was great and the atmosphere was very nice and the character interaction was great too ....we plan to eat there again on our next visit to Disney. :)

We've done breakfast, lunch, and dinner at PSB. All were good, but of the 3, I prefer the dinner. We too saw Cinderella, at lunch, back in Sept. 05. We will be having dinner there this Sept. since 1900 Park Fare is under rehab.

Go, you'll all like it! :goodvibes

It's good to know people enjoy this. I'm a fairly adventurous eater but the option look weird to me. What have people eaten and enjoyed? We're going in Dec and DD would probably love a Princess meal. We did 1900 Park last year and loved it.

I have to agree with others and say, WE LOVED IT! We went for lunch last September, and have ressies to go this September for lunch as well. I ordered the salmon sandwich/soup combo which was delicious. But, everyone else at my table ordered something different and I tried everything and it was ALL good. I think you'll enjoy it a lot.

The princess interaction is great. princess: My DD turned 3 on our trip last year and it was perfect for her. She wore her little Cinderella dress--and Cinderella was there that day as well. It really was special. Enjoy!:wizard:

Dinner: I had the venison stew and it was delicious! The cold cuts bar was good too.

We did the breakfast because my 2 nieces would not eat what was on the lunch or dinner menus and who doesnt like bacon and eggs! It was great, they had the time of their lives.

We did Akershus for lunch 2 years ago. My kids loved it, but barely touched their food. My husband and I thought the food was decent, not great.

Last year we did CRT for lunch and found the whole experience to be much better. The food wasn't spectacular either, but that wasn't really the point for us.

We'd go back to either. :thumbsup2 On the upside Akershus is much less expensive.

We went last month for lunch and enjoyed it. We filled our plates from the cold buffet. Kids had pasta/meatballs and the cheese ravioli - even DS9 filled up. DD6 could barely eat she was so focused on the princesses. DW and I had the Kjottkaker and Pasta Akershus, both were good. The whole meal experience was pleasant but doesn't rank as fine dining. If it weren't for the princesses we wouldn't have chosen to eat here. As it was, it was a good, filling meal, not too heavy, with great interaction with the princesses.

We love the breakfast there. We don't eat meat, other than seafood, and there's more than enough variety for us. The cold foods are on a buffet and the hot foods are brought to the table, so the scrambled eggs are always fresh, and the cheesy potatoes are delicious.

The princess interaction is among the best in WDW. On both trips, there have been five princesses (or Alice) plus Belle by the door. When we went earlier this month, Mary Poppins was just outside.

We really love this restaurant.
