Akershus or CRT for a little princess?

I've done CRT twice. Frankly I'm really looking forward to Akershus this next trip. Look, you really can't loose either way. One advantage of Akershus is it will enhance a visit to EPCOT for a young child.

Thanks! However, Epcot was DD's favorite park last time so I'm not worried about that. The Seas with Nemo is enough to keep both kids happy for days on end. :rotfl:

I prefer CRT. I have been to both and think the atmosphere and food are MUCH better there! I believe it is more expensive - but it's worth it for your little princess to have the experience.

CRT - at least once. The servers really play the role, they even address you by saying "my King and my Queen" while serving you, lol. Plus you receive a beautiful picture package, it's very nice. And the boys get a sword and the girls receive a nice wand to keep. :goodvibes

I agree with this. We haven't tried Akershus yet, I appreciate your comparison of the two. :goodvibes

Honestly, with a 3-year-old who loves princesses, you can't go wrong with either location. We have eaten at CRT 1X and Norway 3X. Both locations have nice princess interaction and will probably be very exciting to your little one. If you are looking for a more "magical" experience and you do not care about the dining credits, book CRT, IMO. They give each girl a princess wand and announce each princess as she walks out. There's also a part where each little princess waves her wand in the air while a princess dances - Aurora for us. Little girls seem to love this. On the dining plan, eating the meal in Norway allows you to enjoy another meal out as it only requires 1 credit to CRT's 2, which is why we often choose Norway. So, it really depends on your priorities. Also, you might want to check out menus online. Some people don't like Norway's menu as much. I have always had good meals there, but you might want to check it before you choose. Good luck!

We did Ankershus for the first time this past trip and I didn't enjoy it at all. The place was crazy nuts. We did breakfast and they didn't have a toaster for the little buffet. The food was all right.

However, we have done CRT every trip (the upcoming one as well) and we have loved it every time. We've done all three meals and have been treated very well. We even got some little castle confetti on our table the last time.

I'm 36--soon to be 37--and I love being able to tell people that I got to eat in the castle. I also liked the princesses better at CRT--the ones at Ankershus that morning just didn't really seem to be into it.

We haven't eaten in CRT, but we have eaten in Akershus for breakfast and it was wonderful! The food was delicious and it felt like a castle. The Princess Procession Parade also happens here, when the princesses hold hands with all the little princesses (and princes!) and walk around the restaurant. You also get complementary photos at Akershus for just one credit. I would go for Akershus. She will have a GREAT time!
