Akershus lunch and dinner question

Hi Everyone,
I was just wondering if anyone could tell me how these meals are served. Is it a buffet or cook to order??? TIA!!!

Both. There is a cold buffet with salads and appetizers but you order your entree off their menu. The dessert is three different desserts seved together on a plate. They have a small kids menu, but I'm not sure what all is on it since dd only wants the pizza when we go. We like the food there, plus one of the desserts is school bread, very yummy.

We will be having dinner there on Monday, the 19th. I'm excited to try the food but looking at the menu online, I can't decide which entree to choose. Any suggestions?

DH has the lamb and I had I think the BBQ sandwich...both were excellent! The cold buffet has lunch meats, salads and cheeses. The kids menue is the typical WDW kids menue/food. The only dessert we liked was the school bread, but that is just our taste. I rate the food better than CRT, they have Ariel (l & d), and it is only 1 credit.

Thanks, Wendi! The salmon was what I was thinking of ordering, too. I'm glad to hear you liked it. Your picture looked like it was tiny - was it really that little of a piece (or am I just hungry now? ).

Anyway, of course I read the rest of your report, too We are doing Tony's dinner, not lunch but I think it has some of the same menu items.

And Max is soooo cute! You're going to have to beat the girls off with a stick with those eyes of his!!

Now, if you don't mind Could you hurry up with the HDDR and Columbia Harbour House review? We leave in less than 61 hours :lol

It is on the small side, but you have the unlimited buffet, so you can fill up on that too!!!

I don't know if I can get my HDDR & CHH reviews up fast enough for you, but I can tell you that they were both great! CHH is one of my favorite CS restaurants!

In addition to the salmon which is good, we have also tried the Kjottkake (just like a meatloaf) served with mashed potatoes and fresh veggies. We all enjoyed that as well.
