Akershus - Just for Girls?

Could this be fun for a boy age 5? Some information suggests the characters change. Is it all princesses or has anyone seen some male characters -- maybe Prince Caspian or the Beast from Beauty and the Beast?

I have never read anything about male characters and when we went last June it was all princesses. I don't know what to say about a boy aged 5. We took DD and DS who was 8 at the time and he enjoyed it, although I think he had a crush on Belle. I think even at 5 he would have been happy but then again he's always been a flirty little guy.

All of the princesses paid as much attention to him as DD and really played up the little prince angle. Which he loved. And blushed over.

We went, just DH and I, for my 50th birthday (he wanted to try the food...ended up not liking it) at lunch time. We had Ariel, Snow White, Alice in Wonderland, Jasmine and Pochantas. We also had Aladdin; not sure if any other male characters have ever made an appearance or if this is something regular that Aladdin does.

Both times we were there it was the same group of Belle, Aurora, Snow White, Cindy and Ariel with the rotating greeter princess (usually belle b/c of the size of her dress)

Never did see any male characters so depending on how much the DS likes them, the food was okay nothing special but our DD loved it

Been there three times and only ever seen princesses. Wouldn't say my DS loves it, just loves his sister and they take turns in choosing the meals. He does go happily though as he likes breakfast and dinner food.

When we were there in September, the table next to us had two little boys, one about 4-5 and the other about 7-8, and they seemed to he having a grand old time. The princesses really fussed over them. And they loved the dessert tray.

My son was fascinated with Jasmine (The least clothed of all the princesses) when he was four and wouldn’t stop hugging her. Although he does have a big sister, loves and copies everything she does.
