Hi. We will be visiting from the UK for 2 1/2 weeks from Easter sunday. I have made a breakfast adr for Akershus but now DD is adamant that her must see for this trip is Ariel as a person. I know that we are more likely to see her at lunch or dinner, so, 1) what would my chances be of getting a lunch or dinner reservation if I left booking until we arrive and 2) is it silly doing both breakfast and lunch or dinner? Or perhaps we will be really lucky and get her for breakfast?!?!

I can't speak for breakfast, but we saw her in her gown at lunch. You can also find her as a mermaid in Ariel's Grotto in the Magic Kingdom.

Just a suggestion - book a lunch ADR for Akershus later in your visit just in case you don't see her at breakfast or lines are long for Ariel's Grotto. Then you're covered, and if you see her, you can cancel the lunch ADR.

I would book these ASAP, we saw her at dinner and I know of friends who went a month before us and saw her at dinner as well. There were so many princesses at dinner: Cinderella, Snow White, Bell, Aurora, and Ariel, it was a great time!

You can't wait till you arrive for the ever so popular princess meals. You should try everyday for a cancellation and hope for the best.

Ariel is scheduled for lunch and dinner with Belle in her yellow gown at breakfast but of course, it's subject to change and can vary on occasion.

I saw Ariel twice now, both times at lunch.

belle will be the one you get a photopass picure with, but ariel is usually one who comes to your table, i would recommend this early in your trip so yo can go to the grotto if you miss her in norway

We were there on Wed for lunch and were lucky enough to see Ariel in her dress and Cinderella, along with Belle as the greeter and Aurora and Jasmine, my daughter loved it!!!!

Is it possible to call ahead and ask which princesses will be there this week? we have reservations and of course you have to cancel them 48 hours ahead or pay, but if the princess we "must" see isn't going to be there we'd like to reschedule for a day she will be. I guess the real question is do they have cast members' schedule hanging on the wall to refer to?

No, they wouldn't know for sure days ahead. Anything could happen. Someone could call in sick.

There are never any guarantees who you will get on any given day.
