What is on the menu for breakfast and is it served buffet style or table service? Thanks,

They bring a breakfast platter with scrambled eggs, meats, and cheesy potatoes to the table. Then there is a cold buffet of breads, pastries, fruit, yogurt, and deli meat & cheeses.

We always order Mickey waffles since some in our group don't eat the hot foods that are brought out. They always give us a plate of them with no problem. Akershus breakfast is one of our favorites! The potato casserole is amazing! The cold buffet is great as well.

What??? order waffles??? that's new info to me. DD would have loved it. BTW the regular food is good and this place has the best princess interaction in our opinion.

Cold buffet is outstanding. By the time we finish with it, we barely have room for any of the hot food (served family style), except for a little of the the potato casserole.

When I was there august 2015 they had gotten rid of the cold buffet and were bringing a tray of those items to your table as well (donuts,meats, cheeses) but maybe they moved it back to the buffet

Yes they moved it back to the buffet, quite a while ago.

@Kkb0517 - That was a pretty unsuccessful test. It lasted maybe a month before they switched back.

Cold buffet is outstanding.

I agree. Our whole group was really happy with the buffet. I was totally plundering the lox.

Akershus breakfast is our favorite breakfast, it is a tradition for us to eat here on each trip (our kids were 6 and 4 the first time we ate here and they are now 15 and 13). Like others have said, there is a hot plate that comes to your table that serves scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, and the best cheesy potatoes ever. If anyone wants to have more items from the hot plate, you can just ask your waiter/waitress and they will bring you out more of what every you wish. There is also a cold bar that you can walk up to (again AYCE) with wonderful items to choose from. We have always had great interaction with all of the princesses there and they also have a cute parade that the princesses do with the kids.

That's good. It seemed like a waste of food.
