What is the earliest breakfast seating? The UG, allears and Passporter all say 8:30 but I saw somewhere that someone had a ressie for 8. Can anyone confirm?

I am not sure what the actual time is or if it varies from season to season but I know for August I have 8:00 reservations for breakfast.

i thought it was for 8:10

We went for a first seating and they do an opening ceremony to open the place.

All the girls get to say the magic words and one gets picked to sit at the "head table" does that still happen?

I was there the last week of April and my ADR was for 8:00am...that said, by the time you get there, get through the line at the entrance (they check to make sure you have an early ressie before they let you in), we didn't even get there until closer to 8:15, and didn't get in to eat until 8:30. I would definitely recommend getting an earlier ressie, as it seemed they were running behind, at least they were on that day!

I just called and got an ADR for 8:10 AM. The CM told me they start seating at 8AM.

I think it depends on the time of year. I went in March and they opened at 8:30 am.

I couldn't get mine until 9:10. But that is ok, we will get to sleep in a little that morning

I've been to both breakfast and lunch and I would recommend both.

The breakfast is your typical breakfast foods...eggs, sausage, bacon, potato casserole that they bring to your table on a platter. They have a cold buffet with fruit, pastries, oatmeal & fixings, and some meat & cheese.

At lunch, they do have some Norwegian meals that you order and cold buffet. I got the kjottkaer which was basically salisbury steak to me.

I actually prefer the Princess Storybook at Akershus to Cinderella's Royal Table.
