Do we try to get the earliest possible? What time would that be, and is it before park opening?
Or do we go for the latest possible (10.10am I think), and then we may fit in a ride or two and some exploring first? Doing it this way seems to make more sense to me, as I figure if we're there before opening at 8am (last years time), we should fit a ride or two in, be able to get fastpasses for something with a reasonable return time, then it'll already be starting to get pretty crowded, and we'll be ready to sit down and put our feet up and take our time on a big brekkie. This is all on my assumption that by this time the ride wait times will be getting pretty long, so whatever we haven't ridden by 9.30am, will need to wait for another day, or use FP. Would this be right?
Does anyone know what time Epcot will ACTUALLY open on NYE? What time did they open the gates and FW attractions last year?
NYE will be our first day at WDW (soaking in the atmosphere - most of the rides can wait until the crowds thin a little). We've pretty well decided to spend the WHOLE day at Epcot (DDs can handle a long day and late night OK - just will sleep 'til lunch time the next day).
Do you have any other suggestions? We really do want to be in a park for NYE, for the atmosphere and fireworks if nothing else. (NYE for us is usually at home watching fireworks over Sydney Harbour Bridge on TV, so this year we're gonna ring in the New Year in style).
