I've got an ADR for our trip in May for the Princess Storybook Lunch. I really wanted breakfast b/c of what I've heard and read from neighbors, but I haven't read any recent reviews of lunch. I understand the pricing is going to go up, another reason to do the DDP for me!:) I would love love LOVE to hear from someone who's been recently and what it was like. Here's our fam: me - not terribly picky and adventurous when it comes to food (When in Rome....) DH - will eat anything not nailed down, DS7 - whos' becoming a bit more adventurous lately, but still loves him some chicken nuggets, and DD4- the princess of the fam, who's not a terribly picky eater either. Our ADR is 11:30 I believe so we can get there early and get some good princess action for our little princess: . the DS, well, I think he'll like seeing the pretty girls, although he'd be hard pressed to admit it!:lmao:

thanks for any/all info! I really appreciate it!

I'd like to hear about this too and I'm surprised nobody answered yet. Maybe this BUMP will help.

We were there in late Oct had lunch loved it. The cold bar had some Norwegian specialities but also some good basic stuff like cold cuts and cheese. I actually had a pulled pork BBQ sandwich (Not very Norwegian but good) and my DH had a Norwegian dish which was very good. The kids had a hotdog or chicken tenders, normal kid fare but to be honest, they were so excited to be there and there were so many princesses they interacted with it I doubt they ate all that much. The menus are posted on this site and at allears.

We are going back in Sept this year hopefully, we thought it was the best character meal

Thanks for the info. I dont' know how much my dd will eat, she's the resident princess herre. My ds won't be quite so excited I have a feeling, he's 7 and way too cool!:lmao:

We go for lunch or dinner every trip....Our favorite princess meal.

they have one of the best kids menu's IMO....great princess interaction...
beautiful setting.
Go and enjoy....you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Thanks Kerri! I"m glad to hear it. I've read and heard it's the best place to see the most princesses in one spot, I was concerned about the food, it seems to be hit or miss based on the past reviews I've read and what I've heard from friends, but that info is from a while ago.:goodvibes

We had lunch there in January. Kids foods were pretty basic - DD had pizza. Menu selections were a bit different but not too weird. I had chicken with I think it was squash as a side. Not the best meal of our trip but definitely not too strange. DH had a traditional Norwegian dish (I forget the name and would never be able to spell it) but he enjoyed that as well. We love CRT but would definitely go here again too. BTW - we got to see Ariel with legs at lunch which was very exciting.

We have breakfast and dinner are we likely to see Ariel in her dress do hope so thanks:cheer2: :cheer2:

OH SO EXCITING!! My dd will just flip if we get to see Ariel, I think that's her most fave princess! I'm really glad to hear the food isn't too weird. I mean if it's regional food from another country, I think it might be interesting to try. You know, when in Rome.... As long as it isnt' too bizarre! I don't think they'd really serve bizarre food at WDW anyway!:goodvibes
