My 3 yr old son is OBSESSED with princesses-What princesses are at the Akershus buffet?

Also- what's better breakfast or dinner?

I remember Belle, Cinderella, Snow White, Ariel, and Aurora. I've never been there for breakfast, but I was very pleased with dinner. The cold buffet was my favorite part. I feel its a better value than the 2-credit CRT.

I agree with @vrajewski10513. I did the breakfast a few years ago when Alice and Mary Poppins took part and it was great. The potatoes are DELICIOUS! I'm doing it again in September, this time with my 2YO DD. From what I've read, Belle is constantly at the entrance, then there are different ones that go around the tables, so there is no set ones. But the ones mentioned above are the ones I see posted the most.

I also agree with @vrajewski10513, our family ate there for the first time in 2013 and I was so glad we chose to do it. I was apprehensive at first with the Norwegian food, but the meatballs with the lingonberry sauce were delicious. It was great to meet all of the princesses, and the procession they do with the kids is so cute!

Oh, and the Akershus dinner isnt a buffet. They HAVE a cold buffet for appetizers, but your entree is ordered from the menu. Dessert is served family style if I remember correctly.

I remember Belle, Aurora, and Snow White being there, can't remember the others.

We ate there for dinner and definitely will never go back, so if I had to choose I would hope breakfast is better.

We've seen Belle, Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora, and Mulan at breakfast. I can't speak for dinner but we LOVE the breakfast there!

We had breakfast there last year in Nov and we saw Belle for the photo first and Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora and Ariel came to the tables. We loved breakfast there and will be going again. It was really good! We loved the cold buffet.. Lots of options. And the hot foods that are served were good, especially that potato casserole! We also heard that if you ask, they will bring you a plate of mini mickey waffles so we asked and they were happy to give us a plate full.

Was there in March for breakfast- Belle was in the the entrance for photo op. Once seated, we met Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora, and Ariel. They also did a Princess parade with the kids. Breakfast has a cold buffet with pastries, yogart, cheeses, fruit, etc. and then the hot meal is served family style- eggs, bacon, sausage, and potatoes.

We ate there in 2012 for dinner. It was nice - the characters were only so-so, but that really comes down to who is there that day and not a review on the whole establishment. We had Aurora, Snow White, Ariel, and Cinderella (I honestly had no memory of meeting Snow White - I thought we'd never met her, but just looked at pictures and saw she was there). Belle was at the door, as always, and she was amazing! One of our best character experiences ever. The ones circulating were hit and miss, but I'm going to take my daughter back when we take a mommy and me princess trip and hope for better results.

We've had B,L & D at Akershus and have had a few different princess lineups in our visits. As for food, I found there was more on the cold bar with lunch and dinner. I also preferred the lunch and dinner entrees over the the family style breakfast plate. Still...everyone's preferences are different...so you might want to look at the menu to see which you guys like better.

We had lunch there in June, good food for for everyone, cold buffet definitely a nice touch. Belle was there (if you have memory maker you will receive the pictures). Walking around were Ariel, Snow White, Cinderella, and Aurora.

Had dinner in February the princess line up consisted of Belle, Ariel, Aurora, and Mulan.

Belle is always there; she is always at the entrance for the photo op, and she is always in the gold dress, except around Christmas, she is sometimes in her red holiday dress. There will always be four additional princesses who visit the tables and lead the princess parade. The current official line-up is Ariel (in a green ballgown), Aurora, Snow White, and Cinderella. However, should one of them be unavailable for some reason, Mary Poppins or Mulan are the current alternates. On our recent trips, we had Mary Poppins instead of Aurora one time, and Mulan instead of Cinderella the other trip, I believe. Both our Mary Poppins and our Mulan were absolutely fantastic, and we were happy to see them, since they are slightly rarer princesses at the meals.

Don't guarantee a child anyone other than Belle. There was a little girl crying in an Aurora dress, and I heard her mother berating a cast member for promising Aurora and not delivering. Made me really sad for the child, and the mother who had expected Aurora, and the cast member trying to explain that they aren't the same every time.

We have had dinner there which was delicious, I also especially enjoyed the appetiser buffet but all the food was good. We saw Belle in her yellow gown at the entrance, Cinderella, Ariel, Aurora and Mary Poppins. My only complaints were that they brought our main course out before we had finished our appetisers and the family at the table next to us, who were really loud and obnoxious and 'entitled'. They kept every character with them but a ridiculously long time while they took multiple photos and lengthy video footage. That's not the restaurants fault of course but this family were too loud and intrusive to just ignore. Tables are pretty packed together in there like in Le Cellier. I am taking my 13 year old DD again in 4 weeks time for lunch. We are still not too old for Princesses, either of us ;) I have eaten at Cinderella's Royal Table four times and agree with a PP this is better value for money. Personally I enjoyed the food better too.

Belle is not always there. When we went one time (2011 or 2012) we has our photo op with aurora not belle. I told dd belle was sick. I felt bad for all of the girls in their belle dresses. My dd was wearing Ariel so it did not matter. We have never seen Mulan or Mary Poppins. We have only been for dinner, I think 4 times. We have seen Ariel, Snow White, jasmine, aurora (when she was not in our photo op) and Cinderella. We saw belle for the photo the other times in her yellow dress.

How does it work at Akershus when your ADR is before the park opens? We have an 8:15 breakfast ADR but the park opens at 9. :-)
