Akerhaus or Coral Reef?

Just an opinion question here....I am going to be in WDW celebrating my 50th and have reservations on that day for the Spirit of Aloha...however....as it seems there's a chance of rain (which would then mean the cancellation of the luau) I want to have a back-up plan....for a special occasion....would you choose Akerhaus or Coral Reef?

Coral Reef is good food & a nice atmosophere never been to Akerhaus.

Funny, my DW will be celebrating her 50th b-day at WDW and she chose Spirit of Aloha as well.

It's been a few years since I was at Akershaus. At that time, I didn't care for the food there, but each person is different.

For me, I would go with Coral Reef. The aquarium gives a more unique atmosphere, which seems better for a 50th b-day.

Depends on the group! I'd recommend Coral Reef, just as far as satisfying the most people in terms of cuisine, but if you have some in your group that love meeting characters, and are a bit more adventurous eaters, Akershus would work out better.
