AKC/Eukanuba National Championship

Has anyone ever been to this dog show, or one of the other top shows?

It's being held where I live this year, and I'm going to get tickets for my DD and my neice. We've never been to a dog show, but we love watching this event on TV every year.

Any tips on how to make the most of the experience?

My instructor who teaches my dogs confirmation class will be there. He handles quite a few dogs for other people. He'll be there with a Great Pyrness. (sp?) I would suggest get there early, 8-9am, buy a catalog then walk around and see whats going on. Wish I was going! Have fun!

I would love to go to a dog show. I think that seeing all of those dogs of different breeds in one place would be pretty neat.
