We are headed to AK tomorrow morning. We have FP for FOP at 8:45-9:45 am.
We would like to try to ride NRJ before our FP.
What time should we leave AKL?
Should we uber in the morning?

AK tomorrow is just regular 8am opening..I'd plan to be waiting at the gate by 7/7:15

AKL is right next door so I'd probably leave there about 6:45

Uber is a dream at AK. Best park to use it. Drops off right at the entrance.

But if you're there at RD, you might consider riding FoP and then riding it again with your FPP. It's that good.

I'm considering this myself. We have a FP for FoP at 9:00-10:00 on an 8:00 opening day. The plan was to ride NRJ standby and then look around some before using our FoP FP. Well, now I'm wondering if we should just ride FoP standby to see the queue (this is our one and only day), get off by 8:30-8:45, ride NRJ (or not at all) and still make the end of our FP window in order to ride FoP again. Decisions, decisions...

We haven't been there yet. But I think RD FoP, to see the queue first and go on it twice w/ the FP, then standby NRJ, then FP FoP is what we would plan too. Since more people head toward FoP first, if among the early groups, you'd hopefully not have too bad of a wait for NRJ and make that FP by your 10:15am grace period. But when we select our FP's, we were thinking of going for something slightly later like in the 930-1030am for FoP... but figured it would be really tough to find early FP's anyhow. We are thinking of trying to be at the bus at 6am to catch the first bus and hope to get to gate at 630-645ish.

We were at the gate at 6:35 last week and got off FoP at 8 sharp. So it still took us a while to work our way back and through the attraction. If we had been 20 minutes earlier we would've been much better off. But we were at the mercy of the buses. That's why I now advocate for Uber in these cases
