Any tips/advice on doing AK without FP probably for a half day 8-2ish, no FoP.

Figure we can do the shows Nemo, Lion King, maybe ride the safari? Walk a trail, have lunch...

Sorry for all the posts recently trying to get my final plans ready for FP day!

I would do safari first, EE second (if you are interested) and then do any other rides you want to do. If you don't want to do anything in Pandora, you shouldn't have much trouble with lines early in the day. I would save the shows for as late as possible as they are a set time and the theaters are huge. Those lines won't build the way ride lines build.

Why do it without FP+? If you're "saving" them for another park later, really no need to do so. 4th, 5th, etc...are readily available.
.
If you really want to do it without FP+, I wouldn't do safari first. It's such a long ride that by time you get off, other rides will have lines. I'd do EE first, then safari. Maybe Dinosaur after that. At that point, start doing the shows.

We are going to do Epcot in the afternoon/evening and riding FEA is the priority, my sister wants to ride it with my daughter and she leaves before we go back to Epcot later in the week.

When is the trip? FEA isn't that hard to get as a same day FP+ anymore. If you want to save your FP+ for Epcot, like I said I'd suggest doing EE first. You're on and off it quickly and can move onto the next ride.

You will have no trouble if you are planning to arrive at or before rope drop. Especially if you are not interested in Pandora. I second DisneyWishes14... head right to the Safari then EE. Then Dinosaur if interested. Then head to the shows.

If you are planning to do FP's I would suggest rope dropping Safari and then FP'ing your next priority attractions. You could FP the shows, especially LK if you are interested in getting prime seating, but I have never found it hard to get in if you are willing to get in line a bit early.

As far as lunch, Flame Tree BBQ is our favorite QS. If you aren't on dining plan, mobile ordering makes it truly quick service.

first week in March, but this is Saturday March 3rd.

I would save your FP for fea. We went at that time of year last year and couldn’t get a same day FP for frozen. We tried waiting in line but the end of the line was in the hot sun and we were barely moving so we just left. I still have yet to ride it.

I rarely use FPs for AK (o.k. I'll be honest we rarely use them for anywhere). We get to the park around rope drop, now go to FoP but used to go straight to Safari, ride it then grab something to eat at the little coffee kiosk right outside Safari. Move on to EE and ride it. We don't ride Dinosaur any more (it hurts my son's back) so we back track to the trails, doing the tigers first then the gorillas. The shows are easy to do stand by.

If you are willing to skip Pandora entirely, AK without FP is really not a problem. The only lines you are likely to face unless it's crazy busy are Safari and Dinosaur. I would suggest rope dropping Safari if possible. I almost always ride EE single rider. I have never seen it take longer than the FP line, and often less time. (I'm not saying it can't take longer, just that I haven't experienced it doing so.)

That’s good to know about ee single rider. I’ve never done it single rider but am considering this trip if we want to reride it later in the day.
