We will be at AK at rope drop and plan to go straight to Kilamanjaro Safaris with no FP+. What time should we make our first FP+ for? Here is what Im *thinking*.

Kilamanjaro Safaris (no FP+)
Kali - 9:15 to 10:15 (would we be able to make it here by 10:15am if we do Kilamanjaro first?)
Everest - 10:15-11:15am
Dino - 11:15am to 12:15pm
Lunch at Flame Tree
then lastly do Its tough to be a bug with no FP+.

We wanted to leave AK by no later than 4pm to hop to MK but if this plan sounds doable then we might could leave a lot earlier? Think we could be done by likw 2pm? No interest in the shows at AK. Only plan on doing whats listed above. Traveling late October. Make my FP+ tonight so any help is appreciated. 1st timer on FP+ here.

With what you want to do, I'd not bother with FP at DAK that day.
Make FP+ for MK starting at a time you know you'll be there.

(BTW, I'd want to do more at DAK, like Lion King, Nemo, Flights of Wonder...)

I think you could accomplish those things without fastpasses at Animal Kingdom and if you are going to hop to Magic Kingdom in the afternoon you might want to consider reserving your fastpasses for Magic Kingdom in the afternoon -- lines are longer in the afternoon than they are in the morning, especially if you are going to rope drop! Also, as far as order of rides to minimize waits -- I think you may have better luck doing Kilimanjaro, then going to Everest, then taking the back way over to Dinoland and riding Dinosaur -- especially if you can make it to Dinosaur before 10:15-10:30ish. Then I would back track to Kali River Rapids closer to 11:00 and It's Tough to Be a Bug doesn't really have much of a wait any time. You may have a few 20-25 minute waits, but I think it might still be better than the waits you would experience in the afternoon at MK. Just another way of looking at it :) We are going to be there around the same time and plan to split AK and HS by rope-dropping AK in the morning and then using our FP+ at HS in the afternoon using similar logic.

Thank you for the suggestions. I will def move Kali to our last FP+.

We are only hopping to MK to have dinner at BoG, parade and Wishes Fireworks that evening, don't plan to ride anything. Its forcasted to be a high crowd day since its a non MNSSHP day. We will be returning to MK on thursday that week (choosing that day since its a MNSSHP day and they are less crowded) and will also be doing the party that night so we'll have an entire day to do the attractions at MK on Thursday.

It was because of this that I figured I might as well FP+ our attractions at AK. If we are able to leave AK by like 2pm, we'll do some less popular attractions like PhilharMagic at MK until our dinner at 6pm.

In that case, allow 40 minutes for Safari, first-thing, and schedule FP+ starting any time after that.
Remember that you have a full hour window in which to use most FP.
(FP for shows can be a different situation.)

And, FPs can only be booked as close as one-hour apart.

Perfect! Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks so much!

If that's truly all you want to do, this is how I'd do it:
9:00 Expedition Everest (ride it 2 or 3 times)
9:25 Dinosaur (FP+ 9:00-10:00)
9:45 It's Tough to be a Bug
10:10 Kilimanjaro Safari (FP+ 10:00-11:00)
You'll be done around 10:45. Kill some time until Lunch and then schedule your KRR fastpass for when you plan on being done with lunch.

Don't forget, once you enter a FP you can adjust the time of the next one to be closer if it is available and works for you. For example, we wanted to do Kali last and were planning on leaving immediately after as we had dinner plans back at our time share. We had Everest then Kali. Once we scanned into Everest I went into the app and bumped up Kali sooner. Initially we were scheduled for Everest FP for 4:15pm-5:15pm and Kali for 5:15-6:15. Looking back now at my old plans in MDE, we ended up moving Kali to 4:50-5:50, we entered at exactly 4:50 (actually tried earlier but were refused so we treked through to see the tiger then went back to perfect timing) getting us out a bit earlier.
