AK to WL and back to SOG

Hi! I'm new here and have never been to WDW, so I'm trying to figure all this out. I'm sure this question has been answered at some point so forgive me for re-asking. I'm starting to feel a little stressed about all this, so I was hoping for a little help from some who have been there before.

We will be staying at AK for the EMH and have an ADR at Whispering Canyon at WL right after that. So we need to get from AK to WL. We are staying at Shades of Green, so will need to go from WL to SOG. AK closes at 8pm and our ressie is for 9:15pm. Is that enought time or should we leave sooner. What "system" is the best for traveling between AK and WL? What about going back to SOG? (I was thinking of monorail to Poly and walk to SOG, which is what most SOG ppl seem to do according to that message board) My main concern is making our ADR.

There is a bus directly from AK to WL and WL is the first stop. You should have no problem in getting to WL by 9:15 if you are at the AK bus stops by 8:00. That will give you plenty of time.

Going from WL to SOG is a little more complicated. The monorail does not go to WL so you will have to take a bus or boat to MK. From MK you can do either of the following:

Resort Monorail to POLY then walk to SOG

OR

Express Monorail to TTC and then take the SOG bus
