AK to MGM: quickest, most direct way?

We're planning to do an early morning at AK, with a 12 noon lunch at Brown Derby in MGM - is there a direct bus from AK to MGM?

If not, would taking the bus from AK to BW, then walking the path from BW to MGM be our best option? (since BW is closest to MGM)

Any better suggestions?!

yes there is a direct bus to MGM from AK.

The bus will take up to 30 minutes so plan on leaving the park at 11 to make it in time for your reservations.
