AK to AKL (driving)

This may be a silly question, but how do I drive from AK to AKL? I don’t recall seeing any signs when leaving AK besides “all guest areas.” Is there anything I need to know? Will there be a sign directing me to AKL? I think I remember hearing that this can be confusing and if there’s any way to get lost, I will get lost!

I do beleive there are signs. However, when exiting the parking lot, stay in the rightmost lane. Just before you go under the bridge, there will be an exit ramp to your right. Take that. At the traffic light, go straight. Less than a mile, you'll be there.

Itsn't there some problem (confusion) with the trip from AKL to AK?

If I remember right (which is far from a sure bet), reading on these boards, that (when coming from the AKL) the place to turn into the AK is confusing.

For some reason, it's not marked. Not sure why. At any rate, when you leave AK Lodge, you'll go straight through a set of traffic lights, and merge into oncoming traffic. At this point, get into the left most lane, and you'll see a left side turn lane. Turn there to make a U-Turn into the Toll Plaza. Be very careful though, the oncoming high speed traffic will not stop unless they hit you.
