FWIR, they're breaking down the Tarzan show and redressing the stadium for the replacement. AFAIK, it'll only be closed as long as it takes to put the new show in and get through rehersals.

They are enclosing the theater. They haven't announced what the new show will be, but given that they're having a big press event to celebrate the opening of Everest, they might take advantage of that to announce the new show.

That sounds great ! My DS (3) will love that (me too ) & thank God it's enlcosed because the heat can be unbearable at AK. I hope it's open when we viist 9/9 - 9/16. Keeping my fingers crossed !

We walked past that area last week and there is a lot of construction going on. The sign doesn't say the usual "This area is being refurbished for your future enjoyment". It says something like "This area is being excavated for your future enjoyment." Sorry, I don't know the exact wording, but know the word "excavated" was used. And, they mean it too; there were holes being dug that we could see.
