AK strategy

I was planning on only spending one day at AK. We have a Tusker House res at 8:10 and a Sci-Fi res at 6:40pm on that day.

- What time should we leave AK in order to make the Sci-Fi res?
- How long should we plan on being at Tusker House? I was thinking about an hour.
- Should we just use our PH and go to AK in the morning and HS in the afternoon/evening so that we're able to do more at HS than just eat dinner?

Note: Trip is 11/14-21 so I'm hoping the crowds won't be too bad.

I would say bank an hour to eat at Tusker House. Also I always a lot 1 hour for travel time using the Disney transportation system because you never know when a bus is going to show up etc. I know other people disagree but better to be safe and early than to miss out. Although if you are a little late they should still honour your reservation.

An hour should do it to get over to DHS. There's a direct bus.

You will most certainly need to use PHs if you are going to DHS after AK. But I think you meant to ask about when to use your FPs.AK is usually quite easy to do without FPs. See the AK cheat sheets at easywdw.com. Josh has a plan that uses no FPs. Then you can have FPs for 3 attractions at DHS in the late afternoon/ evening. Depending on how many attractions you want to see at AK, you might have time for one ride before dinner once you get to the Studios.
