AK Standard View Room info Experts..

Pretty sure I know this but double checking.. All AKV 1 BR Jamba standard views are pool view rooms, correct??

Used to be, but now there are a number of "partial" or obstructed savanna view rooms that have been reclassified as standard. A longer walk, but I thought it was nice I still saw some animals on my last stay.

How far is the walk? Just curious

We had a standard view studio that someone reported a standard view 1BR next to that was out at the very last corner of the wing on the Uzima savannah. I didn't measure how long the walk was but if you left something in your room you hesitated to go back.

We were there in a standard view studio room 2/29-3/5. Had a "savanna" view, say that with quotes because we had the people pen and only a couple of giraffe and tommies. It was fine because we weren't expecting any animal views.

Walk was decent. Down one hallway to the elevator, up to 5th floor down another hallway, take a right and about 5 more doors. I agree with previous poster, far enough that made you consider going back if you've forgotten anything, but not too bad.

In January we had a Standard view 2 bdrm (which of course included a 1 bedroom). It had one of the obstructed Savannah views. It was in the very corner of one of the Savannahs. We saw a few animals which was nice because I didn't expect any at all.

I can't remember the name of the trail. If you are standing in the lobby it was on the trail on the back left. The room was very close to the lobby. You just had to cross the bridge and down the hall to get to the elevator. It was very conveinent.
