AK Rainforest Cafe walk up / menu ?

I just booked a 4 day trip beg. June 1 and found out ADR are booked for Rain Forest. My son was hoping to eat there for dinner and I don't want to book lunch due to uncertain arrival time. However, we are club members for RFC. Does anyone else have experience as dinner walk ups for this time of year using their member card? I'm thinking we will want to be there right after the final Nemo show. We have only been in the slower seasons in the past.
Also, I'll be traveling with a 20 month old who has a food intolerance to different oils, so I am also wondering how well they do with "special" food requests. I would like to order plain rice and chicken for her.
I'm also wondering what I will be eating at AK as I am on a gluten free/sugar free medically related diet due to having an auto-immunity disorder.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

I think you would have a long wait as a walk up. I know that the 2 times we have eaten at the one at the Animal Kingdom we have had a bit of a wait, even with ADRs. And there really isn't anyplace to sit while you are waiting.

I think you are right. I might try and flash my membership card to see if it helps. Otherwise, I'm headed on to eat at Pop's cafe. Thanks.

If you have the Landry's card (is that what you mean by club members?), you are moved to the front of the line. We have eaten at RFC several times as a walk-up and never waited more than 20 minutes or so. Also, I know you can call T-Rex and Yak & Yeti directly to get reservations and they usually have much more availability than Disney does. I wonder if you can also call RFC?
