I am going to the AKL for a quick trip 9/13-9/16. Got a great rate of $119 a night for a standard room. It will be my DH, myself and our DSs (10 and 7). I would like to know if anyone has any suggestions for requests that I should make for a standard room. Any particular building? Floor? Away from lobby? Away from bus stop?
Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Hi, I just stayed at the AKL for the first time in May of this year. I would recommend asking for a room near an elevator in a pod closest to the lobby. Yep, they call the clusters of rooms pods. We stayed near the back of the lodge and had a heck of a hike to the lobby. It's a very large resort and if you're at the back, it's alot of walking! It's a great place to stay though, would recommend to anyone. Have fun!
