AK Picnic in the Park

Is picnic in the park still an option in Animal Kingdom, and what is your review if you have tried it? Doing research for our upcoming trip and this sounds like a great idea, but cannot find if it is still going?

At the begining of the year they announced that it will be offered "seasonally", however since that announcement it has not been available.
And there is no time in the near future as we are aware of.

I do hope they bring it back, but it doesn't look good at this point.
