AK parade

I'd like to know if it is worth catching this parade. When we went in 2001, it rained the day we went to AK so we left before the parade.

We have two girls (7 and 10) that enjoyed the other parades (MK and MGM).

Also where is a good place to watch this parade?

It's a wonderful parade...I like it better than MGM's.

Depending on park crowds, etc...You can watch it from anywhere around Discovery Island (front side of the Tree of Life). Or....one of my favorite tricks if you want to be on the front row and not in a big crowd...watch from Africa. You can hang back at the start of the parade...they will go over the bridge and around the big tree, then they come back along the walkway between Asia and Africa and go back through Harambe Village. Most people follow the parade out after the first pass through (since they are usually done touring the park)...then, Harambe is much less crowded as the parade comes back!
