AK parade timing and ADR question

Hello,

Going to Disney the second week of December. The parade in AK is at 3:45 usually. The park should be open till 5:00. We are using the Disney bus system and staying at POR. My questions: How long is the parade? What time should I make an ADR for at Rainforest Café for dinner after the parade? Will there be an issue getting a bus back to the resort if we have a 4:45 reservation say?

1- Runs about 12-14 minutes past any stationary point.
But, it depends on where you choose to stand as to the time the head of the parade will reach
you.
I'd choose to stand near the "Tip Board" (see maps below) with my back to the exit.
That way, when the parade is over, all you need to do is turn around and walk to
Rainforest Cafe'. (It will take the head of the parade about 8-10 minutes to reach
that area.)

2- About 4:20-4:40.

3- Nope. They will continue to dispatch buses until after all guests have been transported.

Where are good spots to watch the parade from? The last time we watched it was when it came from the gates near the safari entrance and we would wait until it came back through to exit. Is there the possibility to watch this one as it doubles back now with this route?

It no longer "doubles back."

There is not really a "preferred viewing" spot, as just about anywhere
along the route offers a good experience.

The Dawa Bar is being/has been modified to accommodate access to the
new Lion King theater (still under construction) so I don't know
if the bar is still a good parade viewing spot or not.
