AK or OKW or BWV

Hi there....
I will be renting dvc points for the second time next August. I am working with an owner and I am trying to decide between:

AK Value studio for $988
OKW Studio for $1188
BWV studio for $ 1456

We stayed at AK this august and loved it but would ideally like to try something new. I'm just not convinced it would be worth the extra money.

I'm hoping to get some opinions on what my best alternative would be based on resort as well as price. I know animal kingdom value studios and boardwalk studios are very difficult to get but I have someone who will be checking exactly at the 11 month mark, so there is at least a chance.

Please help! I'm driving myself bonkers!

We have stayed at all 3 and enjoyed all 3. It really depends on what you want out of your trip. Obviously, you have stayed at AKV so you know what that's like. OKW has the largest rooms, 2 real beds, nice/relaxing resort vibe, and the boat to DTD. BWV, IMHO, is in the best area on property. You can walk or boat to 2 parks, have tons of dining options close by, and the entire area just has a great vibe. So, to me, for the price difference, I would do BWV.

BWV is my dream resort - I'd love to be able to walk to Epcot and HS!

Out of your three you've mentioned, I've only done BWV and AKL. BWV is 100% the way to go! Walk to Epcot, Boat to Hollywood, the food options! For sure it's worth it!!!

Absolutely BWV! The proximity to EPCOT and DHS alone makes it worth it. And the getneral fun on the Boardwalk is the icing on the cake!

If you are pricing out a BWV standard studio, make sure you have an owner who can book that room at the 11 month mark. They book up fast since they use so few points

BWVs have the best location of the three resorts. OKW has the biggest studio - huge room with two queen beds. We stayed at OKW and really liked the resort. We didn't care much for the bus route, but did like the resort.

Thanks for the reply! BWV is a clear favourite! The owner I am working with owns at both at BWV and AK so can check both for me at the 11 month mark. Fingers crossed that I can get either one or the other!

Ask me at the end of December. By then, I'll have stayed at all 3 in the same year!! I'm staying using a friends points in December--just to give an idea of room size--AKV Jambo House, Deluxe Studio Savannah View is 365 sf, my OKWV one bedroom is 945 sf!! I'm assuming that the one bedrooms at AKV are bigger than 365 (I think close to 600 sf), but I'm sure not 945 sf. Can't wait! ....I'm sure no matter what you decide, you'll have a great time!!
