Hi! I'm doing one afternoon/evening in MK and one morning in MK the day we leave. I have one free morning/early afternoon from 9:00 until around 2-3.

Which park has more to offer for this age group and is easier to manage in 5 hours? MGM or AK?

TIA,
Jennifer

I like AK a lot more than MGM. My kids love it. It's a beautiful park with lots of things to see in addition to the attractions. My kids love hanging out in the Boneyard.

I would say probably DAK. The are a lot of thrill rides (ToT, RNRRc, Star Tours) that you're youngest cannot do. The animal exhibits and live shows might be more conducive to your group.

Great! thanks for the opinions. I think I'll do AK that day. MGM can wait until spring.

Although MGM is a big favorite of mine, I would probably vote for AK if you have to do it in 5 hrs. & your kids love animals. Festival of the Lion King, Boneyard, Flights of Wonder, Kilimanjaro Safaris, Rafiki's Planet Watch. If they don't get scared too easily, take them into It's Tough To Be A Bug. It is so cute, but it is dark & loud.

If they're not huge animal lovers, MGM also has some great things for young kids: Honey I Shrunk The Kids playground, Muppet Vision 3-D, Beauty & the Beast show, Playhouse Disney, Voyage of The Little Mermaid, Fantasmic.
