AK opens at 8am

I am looking at the updated park hours schedule. It appears to me that on June 3 AK opens at 8am but on June 4 it opens at 9. Would you change your park schedule based on AK opening early. I had planned on going to AK on the 3rd but with it opening an hour early that day do you think that's a sign it's going to be extra busy.

While NO calendar is (or could be) 100% accurate,
the WDW Travel Agent Calendar is consistently the earliest-listed
and best-maintained (frequently updated) of all of the on-line calendars.

Thanks for the link. When I go to the park hours section of the Disney website it shows AK opening at 8 am on certain days. Hopefully it's incorrect. I don't think we can make it to an 8am rope drop.

I'm very serious when I tell you to not go to the "official" WDW calendar site.

It is infamous for being filled with bad info.
And, that's NOT to say that it is aways wrong...
It IS to say that it cannot be TRUSTED.

If you want to save a lot of anguish (look at what this has caused for you,)
just stay away from that sadly-lacking site.

Personally I don't think it's worth changing your days. Just make sure you're at the park by 8:30 on the 4th and have a plan.

Disney website recently changed its Memorial Day hours, removing the PM EMH at DHS. Are you saying you wouldn't trust that either?

It's a matter of which calendar is MORE trustworthy.

The Disney Travel Agent Calendar
is consistently the earliest-listed and best-maintained (frequently updated) of all of the on-line calendars.

Can it be wrong? Yes.
But, it is consistently more reliable (by FAR) than the "official" WDW site calendar.

If you check the travel agent June calendar, they did update their hours on June 3 to AK opening at 8 AM, so the Disney calendar was right in that case.
