Ak on Saturday? MK on Sunday?

The first week of June is not actually summer, but not off-season either. The guide books tell you which park to go to based on the seasons so I'm not sure where to go...

I'd like to go to AK on Saturday, May 31. Is Saturday a good day to go to AK? If not, what park on a Saturday.

Sunday is MK (have PS for 10:20 at CRT). Is the day after EMH still a good time to go? I plan on being at MK til early afternoon and then possibly going back to MK again at night. We'll be at the Cont. so we'll just walk over.

Thanks,

Anna

Sunday is the EMH day for the MK. So I would recommend getting there for EMH and then go to breakfast.

I know this doesn't necessarily answer your question, but wanted to let you know that we are doing the same thing.

We'll be there the 1st week of May, so crowds shouldn't be as bad as when you're there, but we're going to AK on Saturday for our 1st day, then going to MK our second day (it is DS BDAY-6 on Sun).

From everything I've seen, AK on Sat is a pretty good day to go. MK on Sunday has historically been good, but with EMH now on Sunday, I'm not sure if that is true anymore or not.

I did plan my CRT for 10:20 purposely so that we can get alot done before breakfast. I'm hoping coming back to MK at night is a good idea - because alot of early entry people will be heading back to their hotels by then.

Opinions...keep 'em coming.

Thanks,

Anna

Anna: It looks like you and I have the same itinerary/same days! I'm debating as to whether to do early entry Friday at AK, then hop to another park; then hop back to AK Saturday from MGM early entry. OR do I just go to AK Saturday and spend the day! Decisions - Decisions! We're doing early entry at MK on Sunday, too. Are you doing MGM Monday? Still debating on the same issue for MGM - early entry Saturday and hop - then hop to MGM Monday afternoon OR just set aside Monday all day for MGM? I've never been in hot weather, so I'm still deciding how important early entry is to me for MGM and AK.

Maybe we'll see you there...

Hi SuzEm,

Is your screen name for your daughter? Mine is!! Katie (10) and Carly (7).

Friday is still undecided. Either Epcot or MK. We arrive around 1:00.

Saturday: AK and MGM at night. Don't think we'll do Fantasmic because of early Sunday.

Sunday: EMH at MK. We have 10:20 PS at CRT. I was planning MK at night too.

Monday: Seaworld.

Tuesday: Epcot, PS for Princess Breakfast at 9:45. MGM and Fantasmic at night.

Wed: TL and ?

Thurs: EMH at MK and ?

Fri: ?

I usually play the end of the week by ear. See where we want to go back to.

Also, we only do EMH at MK.

We are staying at the Cont and the Poly, how about you?

Anna: Yes! Screen name combo of my name and my daughter Emmy Kate (7). It's just the two of us this trip, although some very good friends of mine are coming during that time and also staying at CBR - we'll do some things together. We're staying our last two nights at AKL and just spending that Saturday the 7th enjoying the resort before we leave Sunday morning. Time to really enjoy the savannah view! We have very similar schedule; I'm leaning more and more toward only doing EE at MK -
Thurs 29 - arrive a.m. - afternoon at TL or BB
Fri 30 - TL, BB or ee AK? and hop. We have dinner at 1900PF.
Sat 31 - AK or eeMGM then AK
Sun 1 - ee MK -break- hop to Epcot
Mon 2 - MGM and see Fantasmic that night
Tues 3 - sleep in/swim - MK for afternoon parade & stay for Enight
Wed 4 - TL/break day/enjoy resort
Thurs 5 - eeMK - break - Epcot late afternoon
Fri 6 - Epcot (princess breakfast) -break- hop to MK and close out the day
Sat 7 - Enjoy AKL

Sounds like there's a good chance we'll cross paths!

SuzEm,

Yours sounds like a good plan. We will definitely be doing e-nite too - so that may be our best chance to see you. Wear your lime green ribbons. Mine have been on my backpack for a couple of years now. But I have never seen any others.

I also have "spectromagic" penciled in on Friday (I wrote it months ago). Hopefully they'll have it.

Anna
