AK on EE Official Opening Day

DD is going to WDW with the band and the tour director scheduled them to go to AK on 4/7. They are only stayiing at AK until 1pm. Should I advise DD and her friends to avoid EE and see other attractions or try to ride EE. DD has been to WDW many times but some of her friends have not. Will they have any chance to ride EE that morning? Thanks for your input. Nancy

Hi Nancy,

I'd say go for it. The ride will officially open that morning and if your daughter is there she might as well give it a shot.

There are two schools of thought: one is that AK will be jammed that day with locals who want to ride it on opening day, and the other is that many of the locals who want to ride have already been on it during the soft opening, and will avoid the AK that day!

Good luck to your daughter and her friends...maybe I'll see them there that morning!
