AK Nemo show or Lion King?

We only have time to see one of the shows, which one do you recommend? We've seen the Lion King show before (5 years ago!), it was amazing and would love to see it again! But never saw the Nemo show - is it as good as Lion King? My DD11 seems to think Nemo is for 5 year olds so we should go see Lion King. What do you think? And should we use a Fastpass for the show?

No FP needed for FoLK.

If you choose Nemo (we like the Nemo show, too)
you should get a FP for it.

Nemo is amazing - they both are. If you have seen Lion King, I would go see Nemo. I would use a FP. The one time we didn't, we had terrible seats. Oh, and btw, my DD17 LOVES the Nemo Show.

I'd say Nemo, I don't understand why people enjoy FotLK so much. If your daughter is into musical theater, Nemo is definitely the better choice.

Lion King! My DD6 is obsessed with FOTLK so we see it multiple times each trip and love it! It really is a great show. I don't really care for Nemo- I can appreciate it but I don't care for it- we've seen it a couple of times and the kids always fall asleep.

If you've already seen LK I'd go for Nemo, you should try everything once.

Lion King is hands down my favorite show at Disney. But I also love Nemo and it's definitely worth seeing. Since you've never seen it before, I say go see Nemo.

Agreed, if you've already seen FotLK, you should do Nemo. It's a great show and shouldn't be missed if you only have time for one.

That being said, I LOVE FotLK and make a point to see it every time we go to AK :]

Nemo is much more enjoyable than it seems it would be. I prefer FOLK but enjoy Nemo every now and then.

But I would go with DD's preference and go to FOLK.

I prefered FOLK when we went this year - we did both shows and it was our first time seeing Nemo. My boyfriend didn't mind it, but doesn't necessarily want to do it again any time soon. I loved the movie so I wanted to see it this year, but I didn't like the show, I think I might have accidentally fallen asleep during part of it.

FOLK is one of my favorite shows though!

We love the Finding Nemo movie, but hated the show at AK. I also think it's the worst show on property. The cast is good but we found it way too long for how boring it was.

Hands down FotLK is the better show and best on property

I always say go for the show/attraction/restaurant you haven't tried before. So I'd say Nemo, but only you know if not seeing FOLK will spoil your daughter's day. You could always look at bits of the show on YouTube and decide. If you choose Nemo then use FP+, the seats are in a special section that enhance the show experience.

Definitely FOTLK! It is our favorite show in WDW! Nemo never gave me the feeling the Lion King show gives me every single time. FOTLK is not to be missed when we go, but I can't really say the same for Nemo.

I would say it's perfect for 'any' age group! 'But', so is Nemo - love them both!

I love the Nemo show, but it seems to draw a lot of split opinions. (But no, it is not "for 5 year olds.") The fact that I go to FOTLK almost every trip and I'm not even a "Lion King" fan says something about how good FOTLK is. If that's what your DD wants to see, I vote for that.
