I am thinking of doing this meal plan at Flame Tree in March, since it looks like a great deal with the snacks. My question is if I pay the child price for DS, does that mean he has to order from the child's menu? I think he would rather have a BBQ sandwich, but they are not included on the child's menu (I find it so strange that some of the places do not offer their "normal type of food for the children also).

Thanks,

Stephanie

I have found that if a place offers the kids menu the kids eats off that. Sorry. (depending on the waiter- and its rare- do they let the kids eat off the adult side.)

I agree with serene56. The best place for the kids' AK meal deal is Pizzafari, as the cost of the kids' pizza is the same (or close, I haven't checked the prices in awhile) so you basically get the bottled water/soda and treat (popcorn or ice cream later) for free. I was hoping to eat at either Tusker House or Flame Tree myself on our last visit, but was overruled and we did Pizzafari. I was pleasantly surprised!

Just FYI, when we were there in October, we couldn't get the kid's pizza with a kid's voucher. They took the pizza off the kid's menu. It seems like the only items left were mac & cheese and PB & jelly sandwich.

Wow, that's a bummer! I guess it was too much of a "deal"! Oh well, maybe I'll get to try Tusker House or Flame Tree now...anyway, thanks for posting, lizziepooh! :D
