Where are the SV 1BR villas in Jambo House? Is it worth asking for a particular room?

5307 is a one br lockoff - great animal views on Arusha - there is a feeding rock right in front of the room and you can see Everest.

If you request a specific room and that room is taken, they won't know what you want. Specify high or low floor, near or far from elevator, etc.

AKV Jambo 1BRs, savanna view, are located essentaially everywhere on the fifth floor (the DVC floor except for concierge which is 6th fl). A more likely to be met request rather than room number is simply which savanna you want to view (Arusha in the centet of the u-shaped building, Uzima to to the east and Sunset to the west; most of KLidani savanna views face Sunset)

So, we're talking fifth floor. Is one savanna better than another, or should I simply "close to pool" or "close to front desk" or similar. Of course, we usually don't get requests, but we haven't stayed at AKV, so . . . never know.

Personal preference at Jambo is Arusha savanna (the one in the middle of the u-shaped building), along Zebra trail and not close to the lobby ( with the result that you face west and thus do not get sun beating in during the morning but get to watch a nice sunset in the evening) and thus when staying there I request Arusha view, Zebra trail and as far from lobby as I can get. You are not really choosing between bad and good as all are nice and other two savannas, sunset to the left, and uzima to right of building, are very nice.

newbie here, do the different trails mean you see those animals in those areas? i.e. if you want to see giraffes should you request a room by the giraffe trail, etc. OR can you pretty much see all the different types of animals wherever you're at?
