AK event: curious thought

The big question on everyone's mind is, When are they letting us do the map. Well, in reading the info letter for event, it says that registration is from 4-6PM. What I am wondering is if they will give us map at that time and let us do the map throughout the park until it closes for event. We will be allowed in for event at 6:20PM. Whatcha think? Just wondering.

Hi, We spoke to guest services this morning and
they said to date they still have not decided on
the map pursuit for the AK Event.

I know there are sooooo many of us that really
want them to do it that Saturday. So many
need to drive home Sunday and others are
even flying in for the event.

Hope they decide soon so guests have the
chance to make changes in their plans if they
wanted to.

Look forward to seeing everyone in a couple
of weeks.

This is the first pin event my friend and I ever attended ... I know this is probably a stupid question but what is MAP?

When we got the information about not being let into the park until 6:20, we thought we'd just spend the afternoon at AK, come out around 4 to register and then go back in and sit around inside the park until the event starts. After all, at most of the parks, if the closing time is 5, there are still people walking around 2 hours later - they can't get on rides but they don't seem to "kick them out". Think this is a possibility?
