AK EMH in August added!

Looks like they have added EMH to AK in august the week im going. The time of closing extended to 10 pm I noticed today while doing my fp. Thanks to that they also allowed more FP+ for flight of passage and I was able to grab one!

I mean to specify Nightly EMH 10p to 12p. through 8/19

No problem! I admit I'm worried about the additiional crowds but being able to finally get a FOP fp made me extremely happy!

Im staying onsite for 1 night so my 60 day window only opened for 2 days, I've been up every day making fp since Ill be offsite the rest of the trip and cant book all my FP together. its been a bit of a nightmare but i have 3 more days to go and getting a FOP FP really made my day.

I'm kinda confused here....My arrival date is that Saturday the 19th....And I already have a dinner ADR at Yak n Yeti, so We were already planned to AK 1st day Epcot Sunday & MK on Monday, for this short trip...

My question is this. Being that it's open late on the Sat. is a good thing, but with my 60 day window still 2 days away, will there be anything left for me grab?

TBH I dont know if there will be some. when my 60 day window opened originally I wasnt able to find anything everything was taken for what I can book. the further out you can book the higher your chances of snagging something.

Funny....my FP window just opened for the same week in August and I was only able to grab 1 FP for FoP at AK and it was for our last night!!!!!! Almost got left out! Luckily, for the first time, we're not heading home after Disney so we can stay until park closing on our last night.

So there are openings that night , you're saying...? But in 2 days from now, I'm sure it'll be gone....But that extra 2 hours from 10-12 am will only be allowed for Onsite guests ( Like us )

it might be gone yes, but you are correct. the EMH will only be resort guests but no FP are allowed during EMH. I would check the pandora thread to see the success of riding FOP during EMH

Have you tried overlapping time for 1 in order to get FP for your whole party? My AK day is the second day of my trip. Now I am a bit worried but we are a party of 2. I will try overlapping FP time if needed.

I checked for sunday 8/13 this morning at 720 am and the times they had for 2 people were 8:05, 8:10, 8:15, and 8:20

I am going Aug 12. I didn't FP any pandora attractions because my son is a huge lion king fan and I wanted to get as close as possible for him. Now with the parks extending hours I should be able to get good seats for Lion King and there are still FPs available for NRJ? Will the seating be that good to FP Lion King?

BUT if you MUST have fantastic seats use the FP and Show up early. I've gotten 2 and 3rd row before without a fp but I did show up fairly early.

This is so exciting! That is a water park day for us and we are only doing AK at night. Have FOP, safari and rivers of light. Now, we can wander around and not rush after ROL. Sunday is our off day and the only plans we have is pool and yachstman. We can sleep until noon if we want!

Thanks! This is our first time at AK and we want to make sure we hit a lot. With the extended hours I'm hoping we have a good shot with an afternoon break. We want to do Pandora but have heard about all the craziness.

I just looked to try and make mine 15 minutes later and the only time for 4 people coming up was 540 on the 19th.
